Willem du Plessis and Dirkje Daling recently opened their studio and showroom Karoo Collective in Graaff Reinet. Willem designs bespoke furniture that is hand crafted in his workshop in Nieu-Bethesda. Think minimal and modern. Clean lines, using wood and steel as medium. Dirkje enjoys painting images and ideas from her perspective on life. Images that express freedom and playfulness, combined with more serious subject matter. She works mostly in oils and also enjoys experimenting with installation art as well as combining music in her work. The gallery is situated at 108 Caledon Street Graaff Reinet.
